Privacy Policy and Cookies

This privacy policy explains how we collect and process personal data.

What data do we collect?

The only personal data we collect about you is the personal data you voluntarily submit to us, for example through fields in a contact form on the website or by subscribing to a newsletter.

We also collect data using the analytics tool Google Analytics, but none of the data collected through this tool can personally identify you or be linked to you. Read more about this further down.

Why do we collect this data?

The personal data collected through the contact form is used to process your inquiry in the best possible way and to be able to contact you when providing a response. We only collect this data if we receive your consent.

Who do we share the data with?

The data you submit through the contact form is received by us via email. In addition, it is stored in a database managed by our web developers. The data is physically stored on our server administrators’ servers in Norway. The sole purpose of this storage is to create a backup of your inquiries in case the email does not reach us.

Analytical data that cannot identify you is shared with our web developers via Google Analytics to improve our website.

How long do we keep your data?

If you send us data via the website that we receive by email, this data is retained by us for an indefinite period. This allows us to assist you better and more efficiently in the future. This type of data is deleted upon your request.

The information you submit through our contact forms is stored in our database and retained for up to 18 months. After that, the data is deleted.

What rights do you have over your data?

You have full rights over your data.

Withdraw consent at any time.

You have the right to withdraw consent where you have previously given consent to the processing of personal data. You can adjust this further down on this page.

Access your data.

You have the right to receive a copy of the data we process about you.

Verify and request correction of data.

You have the right to verify the accuracy of your data and request that it be updated or corrected.

Have your personal data deleted or otherwise removed.

You have the right, under certain circumstances, to have your data deleted. This does not include data we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How to exercise these rights

Any requests to exercise your rights can be directed to us through the contact details linked in this document. These requests can be made free of charge and will be addressed by us as soon as possible and always within one month.

Where is your data sent?

Information entered into the contact form is sent to us via email. Before we receive the email, the content is checked by a spam prevention system. This is a third party, and in this context the data may be transferred outside the country. The data is stored in our database in Norway with our server administrators, managed by our web developers.

Analytics data

We collect data using the analytics tool Google Analytics if you approve this when visiting the site for the first time. None of the data collected through this tool can personally identify you or be linked to you. Your IP address is anonymized before any data is sent to Google Analytics. The data collected may include:

  • Which browser you use
  • Which device you use
  • Which city or area you visit the website from
  • How long you stay on the site
  • Which pages you visit

The analytics data is used solely to analyze general trends on the website and to make adjustments and improvements. This data cannot be linked to you and is not considered personal data.

If you do not want Google Analytics to collect data about you, you can install this browser add-on from Google.

Our server administrators collect similar data, but this data also does not contain personal information that can be linked to you in any way.

Embedded content from other websites

Our website may include embedded content such as videos, images, articles, Facebook widgets, etc. Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if you visited those websites directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content. This includes tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

If there is a Facebook widget on the page you visit, this widget may collect your IP address, your browser’s user agent, store and retrieve cookies in your browser, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with the widget. This includes correlating your Facebook account with any actions you take within the widget such as liking our Facebook page, if you are logged in to Facebook.
